Febuary 28, 2012 17:31:52 curious   A special meeting? About? Or is there not agenda?

Febuary 24, 2012 11:36:52 Finger Lakes Trail helper   Hi there Masonville...I am interested in attending the open house for your new town hall, is there a date slotted for this event? I will also, continue to watch the Masonville website for more info.
Febuary 23, 2012 16:47:28 Observer   What a choice we seem to have for president this election cycle! Mitt Romney is not bright enough to figure out he is in a Cult spiritually. If he is not intelligent enough to figure that out how on earth does he expect to run the country? Newt Gingrich? Well, he is just not smart enough period! Ron Paul? A rich man with a one plank platform. And Rick Santorum is not well enough known or has enough experience to be president. As to the one we have now? God above help us cause Obama sure is not going to.
Febuary 23, 2012 11:35:46 Good Luck   From Delaware County Sheriff's Department: Masonville Town Supervisor and veteran law enforcement officer Craig DuMond will soon become the Undersheriff of Delaware County, replacing Undersheriff Douglas “Doug” Vredenburgh who has announced his plans to retire effective at the close of business on March 2, 2012. Craig DuMond brings extensive administrative and field experience to the office, earned by assuming a variety of law enforcement-related titles and responsibilities. He is in command at the Henry Johnson Youth Leadership Academy in South Kortright and has served as a part-time patrol officer with the Village of Walton Police Department since 1990. Sheriff Mills noted, “I appointed Doug Vredenburgh as my Undersheriff when I first assumed the role of Sheriff in 1999. We had both retired, after serving with the New York State Police.” While Undersheriff, Vredenburgh served as the Supervisor of the Delaware County Drug Enforcement Unit when it was organized and also was chosen to lead the 4-person Transition Team that worked in conjunction with the Architect and Construction Management personnel when building our new Public Safety Building and 100-bed correctional facility. Sheriff Mills reflected, “Doug’s contributions to this Office were significant – and he will be missed.” Craig DuMond comes to the job having completed 22 years with the New York State criminal justice system, and having risen through the ranks to the Facilities Director for the 110-bed, state-run Allen Residential Center in South Kortright. After such a lengthy and distinguished career spent serving the State of New York, it only seems fitting that he begin a new chapter of his life and continue to serve the citizens of Delaware County.
Febuary 23, 2012 08:29:23 Maria   Dear what? & MV resident - thanks so much for your help. My family & I wish Craig the best!
Febuary 23, 2012 08:05:35 Denis Burpoe   Craig wish you well as the New Undersheriff for Delaware County. I hope our next Supervisor will represent Masonville with the same drive that you have shown. Good Luck.
Febuary 23, 2012 08:02:22 When?   Berti you are full of S&%* so stop trying to be something that you are not.

Febuary 21, 2012 17:20:14 who?   I smell a rotten camel in this
Febuary 21, 2012 16:07:27 Observer   Burn a Bible and no one except you will even know. Burn a Koran and you have an international incident. Something wrong with that picture.
Febuary 21, 2012 15:45:39 what?   Between Franklin and Oneonta on 28 there is a place with red mulch and dirt. Just past the Ouleout golf course.
Febuary 21, 2012 14:50:16 MV resident   Maria - you might try WRE (Waste Recovery Enterprises) on Rt 7, Sidney -607-563-2626
Febuary 21, 2012 14:48:38 what?   There might be someone smaller but try Clark companies 746-2727. Lowes and Home Depot have sales in the spring on red mulch 2cu ft bags $3ish, Home depot online bulk; $800 ton,$570 half ton,500lbs $550, all includes delivery. Don't know if this is a good price, sounds high, never bought it myself. Seems like there would be a local landscaper that might have a decent price?
Febuary 21, 2012 08:17:52 Maria   I can't believe that no one is able to tell me who can deliver a few yards of red mulch. I need a few yards of top soil and a few yards of red mulch. Any suggestions? Thanks!
Febuary 21, 2012 04:14:51 what?   Dear what??, you have no hope for the future? While I agree, the Republicans running for office are not what I would call top shelf, someone NEEDS to do a better job than our Community Organizer in chief. Don't you wish for 'hope and change'?America can't afford four more years of the 'same old thing'.Obama does have a good chance of winning though, money and corruption can buy you anything and Obama will break his OWN record, more money spent to buy the Presidency than any President in history! A billion dollars this time around! Obama spent a half a billion more than the Republican last time. Obama agreed to run under Campaign Finance Reform in a effort to get the corruption out of politics, he LIED!
Febuary 21, 2012 00:35:05 What??   Dear what?...Obama will be re-elected! Get used to it. The Republicans are nothing but a joke. Keep your politics off the's boring.
Febuary 20, 2012 16:33:29 masonville resident   Let us leave everyone alone and think about spring, in about 3 weeks the time will change and that is the true beginning of spring. Although we can still have some real winter weather in March.
Febuary 20, 2012 15:14:32 what?   I agree to, but lets try to be somewhat? civil. I only disagree with berti's views on Obama, there has been NO hope and change, and this country will be paying for it for a long time. Obama has shown he has no regard for the Constitution or bill of rights with his passage of NDAA. Obama expanded and added to Bush's wars, and started a couple more, trillions spent by Obama on these wars. 2.2 million jobs are now non-existent since Obama became President, there were 2.2 million more jobs available to have in this country in '09 than there are today, after his failed trillion dollar 'stimulus'. If the same number of jobs existed, the real unemployment rate that's reported would be almost 9.8%. The number of jobs in December, 132,952,000. The number of jobs in January,130,400, yet Obama says the unemployment rate is dropping, the real U6 unemployment number,17%. Two and half million fewer people working in January than there were in December, and this isn't counting the 'disappeared jobs'. The civilian labor force tumbled to a 30 year low of 63.7%. Source; Department Of Labor Statistics. You just have to look through Obama's smoke screen, smoke and mirrors.
Febuary 20, 2012 07:52:43 when!   I agree but berti is still full of s%*&
Febuary 19, 2012 20:35:27 what?   Kinda ironic that someone threatens to reveal somebody's identity while hiding behind a screen name, a screen name someone else has been using for awhile. But to think about it, maybe it was just a joke to get people going.
Febuary 19, 2012 15:55:17 Grumpy Ernst Keidel CDR, Come on guys. play nice! It is not a good idea to reveal personal information about others against their wishes. If Bertiemouse wishes to remain anonymous and the residence location kept quiet, then let it be so.
Febuary 18, 2012 16:38:47 masonville resident   Happy birthday to our town judge, hope you have a great day.
Febuary 18, 2012 07:20:58 Grumpy Ernst Keidel HAPPY BIRTHDAY to our very own Judge Judy! She is my neighbor, up the hill, and it was her father, the late Hank Bogardus, who was my very first friend in Masonville. I am sure that Town Justice Judy Jackson is pleased with her new office and courtroom in the new town hall.
Febuary 16, 2012 21:09:11 bertimouse   Dear Counterfeit What: No slip up by me just being Honest. We have nothing to hide. It Is Everyones Right Here To Be Anonymous & obviously talk about almost whatever we want. Be Very Careful, Neighbor. Time & Time Again We Always Say-Remember that The Meek Shall Inherit The Earth so be kind! Our other motto is a flag with a snake & the saying Dont Tread On Me: we are armed with good Lawyers & good Guns. Nuff Said.
Febuary 16, 2012 15:49:09 The real 'what?'   WOW! Everyone, or someone likes useing my 'screen name' or 'nom de plume'. The the last few posts were not by me. Will the real slim shady please stand up!
Febuary 16, 2012 14:25:15 How!   Sounds like something is getting pretty deep where bertimouse is and I do not think it's snow.
Febuary 16, 2012 13:00:06 who   bertimouse, how is the weather on foster and pine hill rds.?
Febuary 16, 2012 10:59:46 what?   Sorry, it was Freedom of Information Law, not Act
Febuary 16, 2012 10:57:21 what? done slipped up. I just happen to have a close family relative who works for the Town Court in Hancock. Through some inquiring...I just happen to know who you are. I will not say right now because I am actually FOILing (Freedom of Information Act) the info but upon will be de-masked!
Febuary 15, 2012 22:05:00 bertimouse   Hey whynot: Geez Louise We Had One Comment about that and R satisfied with Craig Dumonds response TYVM. Peace Neighbor.
Febuary 15, 2012 08:35:49 Maria   Got mulch? Does anyone know who will deliver a few yards of red mulch?
Febuary 15, 2012 08:15:15 whynot?   bertimouse the 4000 dollars was for supplies why do you have to keep questioning our highway supervisor. He saves the town a lot of money by not doing other work and working on the equipment all the time.
Febuary 14, 2012 20:47:31 bertimouse   Happy Valentines Day! Many Red Hearts and Loads of Chocolates, Kisses, Hugs and a Bucket of Red Roses to My Love whom I am SO GLAD IS WITH ME to Share My Life. Honey: You Make My Life Worth Living. I Love You & Want You To Know That I Love You in My Life, My Heart, My Soul and Always Will. You Will Always Be There Baby. :)
Febuary 14, 2012 20:40:38 Just wondering   Does anyone know how the roads were on Pine Hill and Foster RD. on Sunday?
Febuary 14, 2012 20:28:19 bertimouse   Now, heres another story about the Town of Hancock Court: I told that Asst. DA that I know FULL WELL about that speed trap they have down there on route 17. (I watched 10 folks before me go up to the Judge pleading guilty to lesser charges & ALL OF THEM were $100 bucks a pop. "75 in a 55 mile zone, 85 in a 55 mile zone", etc. etc. The Judge was a very nice man. Everyone I saw paid $100 for their speeding tickets, but I think they STILL got 2 points on their license for it. The Asst. DA told me that they had 70 PEOPLE in there for that, so you know that Hancock makes at least about $7,000 a month on that one speed trap alone! =All I could think about driving home that night was=what are they gonna do when that stretch of route 17 turns into interstate 87 when ALL of it is supposed to be 65 mph! ;) Then I thought that maybe sections of this route will ALWAYS BE 55mph. ???
Febuary 14, 2012 20:18:51 bertimouse   So I had to go to Hancock Court to finally answer a ticket for an un-inspected vehicle. It had been OVER A YEAR since I heard from them: Folks at work said Dont Let It GO! Good Advice, Yall because even if the locals forget about it the NYS DMV WONT! =They will suspend your license eventually!!! So, it being the New Year & all, I contacted the Hancock Court & said "Hey, whats up with this ticket?" -They said basically; "OH yah we forgot but show up on this date." Long story short my case was dismissed because 1.Clean drivers license. 2.The Asst. DA in Hancock used to work in Sidney. 3.I got the car re-inspected the next day after the ticket. 4.I contacted the Town to let em know my ticket still wasnt taken care of yet after a whole year. CASE DISMISSED. YAHOO! No Fine!
Febuary 14, 2012 20:08:18 bertimouse   Hey Concerned; ERRR I was in the Hancock Town Court. It was a very interesting mtg. that I HAD TO ATTEND but I was steaming because I couldnt be where I really WANTED TO BE! i.e. TOM! -Err some things just gotta get done.
Febuary 14, 2012 17:49:52 Grumpy Ernst Keidel Yes, Congressman Gibson is well spoken and affable. And of course, as a retired Army guy, I can relate. He got a kick out of seeing pictures of my youngest son and me, both at age 18, at the same rank and stationed overseas, albeit on different continents. Eldest son is three years older than my youngest and outranked him by one grade. Both were in Iraq at the same time, though in different Infantry units.
Febuary 14, 2012 15:41:10 what?   I didn't go, but I did vote for him. We have a good representative in congress with Gibson. He is a retired Army Colonel, served in the first Gulf war, two separate tours in Kosovo, four tours in Iraq and a deployment to Haiti after the earthquake. He received four Bronze Stars and a Purple Heart, among other awards from his service in the military. Gibson holds a PH.D in government from Cornell University among other degrees. And was a Professor of American Politics at the United States Military Academy at West Point. And that is not all of his history. A good congressman. Meanwhile we have a Commander in Chief who can't pronounce Corpsman. On TWO different occasions Obama was trying to say "corpsman," but instead said "corpse-man."Obama needs to have his teleprompter programmed phonetically so he can avoid embarrassing mistakes. But what do we expect from someone who's biggest life experience was as a 'community organizer' and has ties to the socialist party USA and the communist party USA.
Febuary 14, 2012 14:03:33 Concerned Conservative   I was disappointed not to see more Masonville Residents at the "Town Hall Meeting" with Congressman Chris Gibson last night. You missed and interesting and informative presentation. Where were you Bertimouse???
Febuary 14, 2012 06:11:00 FYI   WCDO news reported 2/14/12AM: The Sidney village board approved a resolution at last nights meeting, which will allow the Delaware County Electric Cooperative to build and maintain an electrical distribution plant and provide service in the village. The resolution follows assurances made to the Amphenol Corporation to acquire cheaper energy in order for the company to rebuild in Sidney after 2 major floods in the last 5 years.
Febuary 13, 2012 16:35:00 Town Board Member   To whom it may concern. The welding may be supplies, plow equipment, and winter supplies for the trucks. It is not for welding, the name you see is a company name which is a Tenco dealer. This is why there are several bills during the winter for this company. The TOM does have a very capable welding crew and does 95% of their own repairs to save money, but they do need to buy the materials for these projects.
Febuary 13, 2012 09:58:48 Masonville Resisdent   You go Bertimouse! Stand up...ask your question proudly! Go Obama! Obama in 2012...Republicans don't even have a decent contender. What a shame
Febuary 13, 2012 07:17:35 where?   Yeah bertimouse go to the meeting stand up and ask the question. Dare ya!
Febuary 12, 2012 18:56:20 Craig DuMond   Hello Berti - I have been offline for a few days. I do not know the specifics regarding the welding question, however, I can assume it must have been for specialty work as we do almost all work in house. Our highway employees go above and beyond when it comes to in-house service, our new Town Hall as the most recent example. Any specifics regarding your question should be directed to Superintendent Chuck Smith...I am sure he will be happy to answer any questions you may have. As far as the grants go, yes I am looking at them and will pursue any grant that will be of benefit to the Town and it's taxpayers.
Febuary 12, 2012 16:59:29 Maria   Hi everyone - I am thinking of spring. Does anyone know who will deliver a few yards of red mulch? Thanks in advance!
Febuary 12, 2012 07:25:12 when?   bertimouse your question on the welding should be directed to Chuck Smith he is a elected official and a steward of the tax payers money. He should be able to tell you how and where he is spending the money. Good point why not have the work done in house. You should go to the meeting look Chuck in the eye and ask the question. Scared bertimouse
Febuary 12, 2012 00:30:55 bertimouse   Hey what: like we said; Whatever. We are Voting for Whom Ever We Think is The Best Choice For What,When,Hey? Our New President? Our New Congress? Our New NYS Senators? Our New NYS Assembly? Our New NYS Congressional Reps? WHATEVER What. This is 2012 and No One Can Predict at the moment, LOL! PL&H.
Febuary 11, 2012 23:43:33 what?   bertimouse, you give Romney a strike for being a Mormon.Judge people by how they behave, not what race, religion or other group they belong to. There are good and bad people in every group. If you have questions about Mormons ask your Mormon friends,I work with a few and they are good people. People who make fun of Mormons or any other religion or group usually make fun of them because they are bigots, or ignorant.
Febuary 11, 2012 21:15:10 bertimouse   Hi Craig. How come you havent answered us yet? Oh Well we guess u r mega busy. We understand how hard it is LOL! PL&H 2 all of U & yours. U Deserve all of Gods Love and etc. for all of your efforts. Thanks Again for all U do.
Febuary 11, 2012 21:05:11 what?   He doesn't have more money than Obama. Obama is going to spend a record $BILLION$ dollars this campaign. He already holds the record for his over a half a billion last campaign,he spent over $500 million MORE than his republican opponent.
Febuary 11, 2012 20:41:03 bertimouse   Dear What: All The Presidents Around This World Have Their Hands FULL RIGHT NOW no matter who they are, OK? Romney has a few strikes first:1)He is a Mormon. 2)He has more money than GOD he says now which will NOT help his campaign. Our Vote is for the underdog.
Febuary 10, 2012 23:17:54 what?   Dear; bertimouse,,,No Roseanne doesn\'t count. What is wrong with Romney being a Mormon? I am not, but I would not discredit him because of his religion, and I\'m not saying I would vote for him, I was hoping for Herman to beat Obama with a Cain.. Obama has in his past said he was a muslum, then a christian. He has been against *CENSORED* marrriage and now for it. Talked about how wrong Bush was for the wars and then expanded and added to them.Extended the Bush tax cuts and explained how good they were and now condemns them.Praises the military and then Obama starts off his State of the Union address by thanking the military while at the same time he is slashing the Pentagon budget by about a trillion dollars and firing 80,000 soldiers. Opens up by praising an element of government that he is slashing to shreds.
Febuary 10, 2012 23:03:37 bertimouse   p.s. TOS Folks have a hard row & it is not as simple as here in the TOM. Apparently there are many screwed up issues there within their Town Gov., we know. TG for TOM every time we attend one of their mtgs., LOL!
Febuary 10, 2012 22:48:23 bertimouse   The TOM folks have much better Local Gov. than the TOS ever has had in Years; LOL! Yall dont know what yall speak here Good Neighbor. Have a Nice Weekend to reflect on what u say, eh? Please? Thank you.
Febuary 10, 2012 21:41:39 what?   Dear;when? what? who? why?,,,I believe Sidney\'s crappy town supervisor McCarthy who made national headlines for his racist agenda against Muslims looked into outsourcing. Don\'t quote me but I believe the town shot the idea down when they found out it would actually cost taxpayers MORE money and lose some jobs for some local people. I don\'t believe Masonville taxpayers would be willing to do this either.
Febuary 10, 2012 18:22:31 bertimouse   Hey Craig got another question: Saw ALLOT of Empire State Development Grants available for Towns online today - are we actively seeking some of them still? Thanks.
Febuary 10, 2012 06:06:12 when? what? who? why?   bertimouse how many man hours a year do the tax payers pay for in the highway dept. over 6240 hrs.not including Supervision then add benifits we should send some one to school.Would it be cheaper to out source all the road maintenence.
Febuary 09, 2012 21:23:13 bertimouse   Dear Craig Dumond: Can you answer online why the TOM board approved to pay so much money for WELDING for the TOM Highway Dept. last month? ~4K seems to be allot. We noticed that there was no discussion about this. Why are we "out-sourcing" this type of labor? Can't the TOM start some kind of program to help OUR welders get the certification THEY NEED in order to keep our costs down? -JUST WONDERING, Thanks.
Febuary 09, 2012 21:15:20 bertimouse   What? Huh? Like Roseann Barr really counts. Give us a freaking break. LOL U R 2 funny what!:) Thanks again for the chuckles. Still going for Romney or maybe Santorum now. Romney is a Mormon. Err is all we have to say about that. Newt has Way Too Much Baggage & Romney Way Too Much Money, so there you have it for the Campaign, in a nut shell. If Romney can convince everyone that even though he's a millionaire he still CARES about all the rest of us poor slobs then he just might have a chance. Santorum seems to have a better speech. Again we say; Newt IS DONE...he should quit while he supposedly thinks he's ahead. -NUFF SAID HERE YOU ALL! WE ARE DONE TALKING ABOUT THIS STUPID NATIONAL POLITICAL B.S. WHICH IS WAY TOO EARLY!!! We have other questions.
Febuary 09, 2012 20:52:50 bertimouse   Cool. well be there Mike.
Febuary 08, 2012 19:36:11 the bones   I'll vote for her /him , makes no sense like osama obama
Febuary 08, 2012 07:45:20 who?   bertimouse for president, She's an air bag, make a great politician makes no sence but keeps on talking
Febuary 07, 2012 18:20:07 Observer   Anyone missing a mature beagle mix Male? If so call the dog warden he has the number of who has the dog right now.
Febuary 06, 2012 18:48:08 TX1   Still Castro looks like a better choice
Febuary 06, 2012 15:22:02 what?   Fyi bertimouse; "NO ONE IN THIS COUNTRY SAID what you implied", YES Roseanne Barr DID it was on ALL the news, and she said she was serious.FAT CHANCE she will win. I know for a fund raiser she could sing the National Anthem grab her crotch while giving the finger AGAIN! MAYBE SHE SHOULD BE SENT TO A "RE-EDUCATION CAMP"..Let her run. Support her. She'll take the votes of some of the whackos that would have voted for Obama.
Febuary 05, 2012 23:29:47 bertimouse   Dear What: about your comments: 1. Why shouldn't Wall St Bankers give up income over $100 million? 2. NO ONE IN THIS COUNTRY SAID what you implied about a)Wall Street bankers should be forced to give up any income over $100 million, sent to re-education camps, or be executed by beheading if they resisted. Dude - your postings are SCARY. Please stop. Thanks. Please post for ALL of our Future from Now On, Thanks.
Febuary 05, 2012 23:12:34 bertimouse   Tough question: I am a conserv/lib rep. Other half is a conserv/right dem. SO GO FIGURE, Argh! PL&H Yall. Please remember that We Are Local and will Always care for Each Other No Matter WHAT the Politics, because we are Here and We Care because We Are Here.
Febuary 04, 2012 07:20:31 what?   She (Roseanne)is running under the 'Green Party'. HA HA! She said Wall Street bankers should be forced to give up any income over $100 million, be sent to re-education camps, or be executed by beheading if they resisted. Sounds like Castro to me! She won't have my vote.
Febuary 03, 2012 14:21:48 FIDEL CASTRO FOR PRESDIENT   I Would Vote for Fidel Castro or Raul Castro. To straighten this bull *CENSORED* here in USA
Febuary 03, 2012 07:42:59 TX-1   If election were held today, who would you vote for president?

January 26, 2012 13:02:36 GBBC Feb 17-20, 2012   fyi.. the annual Great Backyard Bird Count will be Feb 17-20, 2012 (Fri-Mon) if interested google: 'bird count' or 'GBBC' to get to the correct website to obtain checklist and photo-contest inf. (( My kids have been participating in this event since Pre-K... It's funny how things stick. Maybe if there is enough interest, we could get the young and old together at our local library, townhall or MV Country Cafe... to share photos and stories and upload some favorite pictures. Maybe even create some local framed 'Artwork' to be added to the new townhall lobby. Just a thought!.))
January 26, 2012 06:58:20 what?   Ha, Ha, good one! But maybe this is the sound he shoots for. The voice that made him made him multi-millions!
January 25, 2012 19:46:50 Observer   If I spelled it correctly it would be censored.
January 25, 2012 19:45:14 Observer   Actually This idiot Tyler singing the national anthem sounded more like a monkey with his testicals caught in a bear trap.
January 25, 2012 10:44:52 Masonville Resident   Are you all kidding me? What's the dogs on the loose in town and you have nothing else to complain about! What you got was a "Rock & Roll" version of the National Anthem when Steve Tyler sang it...get over it!
January 25, 2012 07:37:11 TX-1   This is the only country ,that the national athem can be screw up,dont get it. it should be sang the way it is and thats it,it is so disrespectful.
January 24, 2012 18:53:14 dog owner   Does anyone know how much dog licenses are this year and if the dogs have been counted around the entire town?
January 24, 2012 04:00:36 what?   At last years 2011 Superbowl Christina Aguilera 'performed' the National Anthem. She forgot the words. Instead of singing, "O'er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming," Aguilera inserted the line, "What so proudly we watched at the twilight's last reaming."...During a presidential campaign stop in 2008, Hillary Clinton's microphone picked up her earnest attempt at 'The Star Spangled Banner.' WOW! Terrible voice, but of course she didn't know her microphone was on, and she wasn't getting paid for her performance.
January 23, 2012 20:32:48 bertimouse   Prayers to Alabama tonight: more folks homeless, more folks in need.
January 23, 2012 20:31:07 bertimouse   Political Comment Here: Romney or Ron Paul should win, not Newt. Newt has too much bad Karma, and some nasty baggage. Our gut feeling is that the guy is BAD NEWS for the Rep. Party. We think that Ron Paul maybe a dark horse with the Teas, but whatever.
January 23, 2012 20:25:40 bertimouse   Long Live Steven Tyler. He is a Senior Citizen now yall & one of the few great musicians who have survived. He probably has Larungitis now, LOL. Give him a freaking break, Well Maybe much did he actually get paid for this? If he was Paid for this event then Yes, he should have sang the words right, eh?
January 23, 2012 15:27:45 what?   Tyler flubbed one teensy lyric, sang “as bomb bursting in air” instead of “the bombs bursting in air.”Sounded just like Steven Tyler. If you ask Steven Tyler to sing it you'll get Steven Tyler. I'll take a old, worn out rock star's performance over some young harpy extending the song by five minutes so they can add warbles and yodels to it. It wasn't perfect, but who was expecting it to be? He is a screeching screamer, and sang it with respect. If you didn't like it blame the NFL, they knew what it would sound like. He didn't grab his crotch and spit in disrespect like Roseanne Barr.
January 23, 2012 12:00:14 Observer   What a massive insult to our country and all who have given their all for it. The *CENSORED* who sang the National Anthem at the football game yesterday was not only horrible but completely insulting to our National Anthem. As far as I am concerned singing our National Anthem other than the way it is written should NOT be allowed. We do not need people like Tyler and Madonna and that *CENSORED* Rosie O'Donnell and the like "singing" it. I hope I did not step on anyones "artistic license".
January 23, 2012 09:20:59 TX-1   Is there much Snow on the ground?
January 22, 2012 19:16:13 masonville resident   Looks like winter has finally gotten here and now we are in for more rain, just what we do not need.
January 19, 2012 18:36:33 bertimouse   Resident: Your right on that one, but if you look closely at those nubby things on the metal roof there in front of the entrance, those are "snow catchers" which err, slow down the amount of snow that will dump off that metal roof - also there's gutters installed there. Maybe at some future date we could install a roof over the ramp to reduce the err, insurance risk of an icy walkway ramp...your absolutely right though, the main roof should have been designed to extend out to cover the front entrance but yes - we love this outstanding accomplishment & are so proud.
January 19, 2012 11:39:40 Resident of Town   Wonderful job on the new Town Hall. A big thank you to all who worked to make it possible at the lowest cost. Just one question? Why was it designed with a gabled entrance with the entrance doors on the side under the gable? Isn't this asking for problems with snow, ice and rain? But non-the-less. Great looking addition to our town.
January 19, 2012 03:50:31 what?   Hopefully someone finds that paddle, 2012 could turn out to be a good new year if someone does.
January 18, 2012 19:24:50 bertimouse   What? LOL The republicans say the same thing! We are all up the creek without a paddle no matter whom we vote for, ARGH!
