April 29, 2012 15:06:48 what?   I bet it would be really cheap if we outsourced it to China!
April 29, 2012 10:10:30 whatever?   I bet it would be cheaper if the county took over our road plowing and yearly repairs,We have too many elected officials touching our money we need to get rid of some.
April 29, 2012 08:56:55 what?   Sidney was going to try contracting out, they found out it would cost the town MORE money. So your upset about not having cleanup day (even though there is still places to take your junk) and feel some of TOM's families should lose their jobs, income. I don't think the TOM workers are overpaid, at least they don't look it.
April 29, 2012 08:42:25 what?   Somebody has their panties in a knot. What did you have to take there? Old lawnmower, BBQ grill? Take it to the Delaware County dump and throw them in the dumpster, it's FREE! Old tires, refrigerators, batteries TV's are all accepted FREE at the dump. And their open five days a week.
April 29, 2012 06:44:50 resident !   now that there are no clean up days because it is to expensive for the town highway elected official to coordinate the operation,Would it not be better and cheaper for the town to get rid of that position and put all of our road maintenance out for bid every year. The town would get more for their money being non union employees. And we do not have to pay a Supervisor witch is a waste of money for the town.
April 23, 2012 08:18:37 Grumpy Ernst Keidel CDR.Keidel@gmail.com HAPPY BIRTHDAY today to our previous Town Supervisor Craig DuMond!
April 21, 2012 14:58:57 crzyflea   Sometimes we forget that recycling can make things beautiful too. Those old tires that cost so much to turn in for example could be turned into beautiful planters for beautifying the town. We are a down to earth town (I think at least)- why not show our creativity and have a beautifying project. If done properly tire planters can make a wonderful addition to a yard and garden. One of the ingredients in the rubber recipe is zinc. Zinc, in fact, is an essential plant element. I also expect that rubber is safer to use than treated lumber that contains copper and arsenic. Tires are durable. The very qualities that make them an environmental headache make them perfect for use in the garden. Paint them up with some bright non toxic paint for some added splashes of color, cut the tops into a petal pattern (you will need a little elbow grease for that) or make sure that they are packed tight in the grooves and you won't run the risk of stagnant water for mosquitos to set up nurseries in. Hop on google for some ideas and how to for this project!
April 19, 2012 00:34:18 concerned resident   Our thoughts and prayers going out to the Miller family.
April 17, 2012 13:04:42 Grumpy Ernst Keidel CDR.Keidel@gmail.com My darling little wife is big into planting stuff. She's been buying trees and shrubs and veggies and is digging up a lot of our property. She is in need of some old cow manure and wishes to know of a source. Of course, she's talking about aged manure, not new manure from old cows!
April 16, 2012 15:48:02 CC   TURKEY HUNTER : THERES LOTS OF TURKEYS ALL OVER THE AREA,. SEEN A FEW BIG VW *CENSORED* BY THE APPLE TREES ON STATE LAND. NICE ONES............ GOOD LUCK AND PASS BY AND SAY HI !
April 14, 2012 23:42:54 Turkey Hunter   Soon the jellyheads will fall ! Can`t wait for Spring Turkey Season To Start !!!!!
April 14, 2012 19:14:16 Mormon Hollow Farm   Grumpy, hope you enjoyed the view, we try hard to keep it looking nice.
April 14, 2012 17:50:36 Grumpy Ernst Keidel CDR.Keidel@gmail.com My little woman (she's 4'10") and I drove to Walton today to pick up a number of trees at their annual sale. In doing so, we passed by the MORMON HOLLOW FARM and I pointed out to my DW that this place belongs to a Masonville Town Council member.
April 14, 2012 11:54:31 MORMON HOLLOW FARM   Since our spring weather is here I hope all will be aware there will be farm tractors and equipment on all of the secondary roads and they do not travel at a high rate of speed so we do come upon them rather fast. Please be aware so no one gets hurt, this comes from someone who knows how fast disaster can strike! Again please be aware.
April 12, 2012 19:36:52 what?   Observer; I think you are right! Thanks! I actually thought it was a abbreviation for something the town did.Ha, Ha, oh well.
April 12, 2012 18:09:10 Observer   Well What? -- If you are English a "fag" is a cigarette. Elesewhere it possible refers to a male homosexual. But in this case I think they meant "flags" LOL :)
April 12, 2012 14:35:39 PINKA ROJA Y CORTO   YUP ! MASONVILLE ICE CREAM SHOP on RT 8 is OPEN. THEY HAVE THE BEST ICE CREAM in THE STATE OF NY. GOOD LUCK MS. OLD ICE CREAM LADY..
April 12, 2012 08:24:55 A few older Taxpayers   We would like to see our tax money used to make our town look better. We didn't get a say on the tax cap, so we say use the money for Clean Up Days. We agree that some rules should be put in place, like proof of residence and where the junk is coming from. If the landfill charges a fee for an item then that fee should be passed on; it would at least save the person gas money to just bring it into the town shed. It is easier to bring junk to the town shed and have someone help unload it, at the landfill you have to do it yourself. Please Save Masonville Clean Up Days! Don't throw that out to the garbage.
April 11, 2012 20:14:16 what?   "A BUDGET ITEM JUST LIKE FAGS",what? is FAGS.
April 11, 2012 17:12:09 TX-1   HEY!!! ICE CREAM IS OPEN,GOODDDDDDDDDDDDDD!!!!!!!!!!!
April 11, 2012 16:33:43 Observer   As too scrap metal - I see ads all the time on Craigs list and elsewhere by people wanting to pick up any and all scrap metal. Right now scrap is selling quite high.
April 11, 2012 16:30:50 Observer   Perhaps someone should volunteer to take the responsibility of making sure citizens adhere to the rules of leaving items along with volunteers to do the work the Town Crew have been doing so they do not have to take time from their busy schedule to do it. While the dumpsters have always been at the Town garage site because it was convienient to the Town workers that is not carved it stone. They could be placed almost anyplace large enough to hold them. Perhaps a small fee could be charged to help offset the cost of such a venture.
April 11, 2012 16:23:30 A VERY CONCERNED RESIDENT   THIS TOWN SHOULD CONTINUE TO HAVE A\" CLEAN UP DAY \" WITH RULES.THE CLEAN UP ATTEMPT WAS NEVER INTENDED TO MAKE MONEY. IT WAS A ATTEMPT TO ELIMINATE NASTY UNWANTED ITEMS BEING DISCARDED ANYWARE.THE DUMPSTERS ARE LEFT HERE BY SALVAGE COMPANIES WE GET A SHARE OF THE SALVAGED PROCEEDS. PROBLEM CAME FROM TIRES ETC.STRONG RULES SHOULD BE PUT IN PLACE AND FOLLOWED ,. A SIGN IN POLICY ESTABLISHED PROOF OD I.D., VEHICLE ID NOTED ,LIMITS SET. THIS SHOULD BE A BUDGET ITEM JUST LIKE FAGS AND OTHER BEAUTIFICATION EXPENSES. ANY EFFORT LIKE THIS MUST BE ENCOURAGED
April 10, 2012 20:41:45 what?   Does WRE take metal for free? I know the Delaware County dump does. If you have a decent amount take it to Oneonta and make a few dollars yourself,or try asking Gray's,they might want it.
April 10, 2012 16:06:21 resident and tax payer   the money the town made on the scrap metal was far less than the expense of hauling everything else away and paying the men to work overtime. We are fortunate that our town had clean up days for so much longer than most towns. Now it is up to us to keep Masonville clean.
April 10, 2012 11:19:05 What!   I did not expect a response to my question to indicate I was being rude. I will just bring my scrape metal to WRE in Sidney. To bad there will be no clean up days I thought the town made money on the scrape metal.
April 09, 2012 22:29:27 bertimouse   To You & Yours What?. We here are OK & Hope that You & Yours Are Too. Happy Spring Maybe For Real in 2 weeks? :)
April 08, 2012 10:49:14 what?   Have a happy Easter everyone!
April 07, 2012 10:27:57 Observer   Some comments are being made on this board concerning people bad mouthing Town Board members or what they do. I do not know what is being referred to even though I read back through the posts. I gather it is concerning a junk yard; but I did not see the insults in the post. A note to elected members of our town! The very fact you are willing to run for the office and serve if elected places you in a position for critisism. It goes with the job. I believe it was Harry Truman who observed, "If you can't stand the heat get out of the kitchen." While I understand many comments are not fair and probably made out frustration they are not meant in any personal way but rather a comment on a given situation in general.
April 07, 2012 09:55:56 TOM Webmaster   This site, as I understand it, has nothing to do officially with the Town of Masonville. It is rather a site maintained by a private individual for his own purposes. It has a fairly active message board in which, I understand, residents and readers of the board are encouraged to take part. We might say somewhat like a group of people chatting at any location. The individual who maintains this site posts the minutes and happenings of the Town Board of his own volition and has no official sanction or standing. Any person can post public minutes anywhere they so desire. -- The official website maintained by the Town does not have a message board such as this site has. Rather it maintains a Guest Book site. While messages can be posted to the Guest Book it is mostly intended to keep a record of who visits the site. There is no requirement that a visitor to the official board sign into the Guest Book and from the number of hits compared to the number of sign ins one would have to believe that most visitors to the site prefer not to sign in. -- This site, apparently, receives the minutes and information much more quckly than the official site does. i.e. as of this date the official site has not received the Meeting minutes from March to post to the site. Nor, does the official site receive any of the local laws etc. to post. I wish it did, but be what it may, the best we can do is done with what we have. The person maintaining the Official site has no control of what does or does not appear on the site. The person in control of the Official posts to the site ONLY those things that are received by him and authorized to be posted. This site is a place for the readers and residents to gather and express their views and opinions. While we may not all agree with each and every post it is still an excellent way for people to make their views known. As we all know when it comes to opinions they are like belly buttons; everyone has one.
April 07, 2012 09:10:30 what?   WOW the language! Just would like to clarify What!'s post was not mine. What!,why don't you try to use a original post name, or your real one. I don't think their post was all that bad, I've read worse. What do we vote down next? The Quickway?I've heard some nasty comments there as well. That is the nature of some people. It is obvious town board members prefer this site, the last post on the 'official' one was almost two years ago.
April 06, 2012 23:06:04 Pamela Walker pwalker@frontiernet.net ps sorry for the spelling it\'s late and i\'m tired don\'t get on here much and now I know why. The bull *CENSORED* I read. Who are you and we that we must talk such *CENSORED* about our Town and the people that live in it.God Bless you all.
April 06, 2012 22:59:30 Pamela Walker pwalker@frontiernet.net If comments are made that are so rude to people of this Town and to the Town Board that is doing there best to do what is right for this Town should keep ther comments to there selfs or I vote for this web site to be shut done. People are not nice on here. This web site should be for information not talking about other people. The last comment was the worst.
April 06, 2012 14:37:43 What!   If there are no clean up days can we bring our junk to Gray's garage being they have a permit to run a junk yard.Is the junk yard open for business now that they have a permit.
April 06, 2012 12:45:06 Mormon Hollow Farm   Since there are no clean up days we should all start going to the landfill and not let this stop us from keeping Masonville clean. There may be people with trucks that would haul to the landfill for you, please do not leave anything along the roads, this defeats the purpose of cleaning our town.
April 05, 2012 08:11:08 concerned resident   there will be NO CLEANUP DAY in the town this year per town board
April 04, 2012 16:44:22 resident with concerns   I think the third runnerup from Novembers election should have the position. Was that not Marie.
April 01, 2012 20:49:09 Craig DuMond   Thanks Jeri….Folks need to stop with the conspiracy theories and misrepresentations of the Boards intentions. This law was crafted from the NYS law, which upon review by the Board , is considered overzealous and inappropriate. Every Board member agrees with this position, as well as the new Supervisor, and therefore the law was pulled. If and when an amended version is considered, it will be discussed openly during Town Board meetings and a Public Hearing (with Legal notices) scheduled. In the meantime, casting stones or making uninformed accusations is unproductive and also does not serve the best interests of our Town. This Board has worked hard at serving the best interests of our Town. As with most of us, at times we make mistakes. The most important thing is we right ourselves when this happens….pulling this local law is a clear representation of that.
April 01, 2012 19:33:11 MORMON HOLLOW FARM   ALL WORK HAS BEEN PUT ON HOLD UNTIL THE BOARD DOES A LOT MORE RESEARCH ON THE LAW IN QUESTION. WHEN THE BOARD IS READY TO CONFRONT THIS ,IT WILL BE WELL POSTED AROUND TOWN SO ALL WILL KNOW WHAT MEETING TO ATTEND. THANKS FOR ALL THE PUBLIC CONCERN.
April 01, 2012 17:36:45 Grumpy Ernst Keidel CDR.Keidel@gmail.com Snow! SNOW? Are you fooling me, April?
April 01, 2012 15:55:01 reader too   this law needs to be discussed at the April meeting so the board knows how the public feels, after all it is the property owners that are affected.
April 01, 2012 13:50:16 Common Sense   Just because the board isn't going to consider this law at the April meeting does not mean that people shouldn't voice there opinion. When will they consider it? At the May meeting when it will be to late to be heard? People should still go and speak their mind. At this time the town does not have the right to come on to your property and mow your lawn or take down a building and then hand you a bill. You are protected by your property rights. This proposed law will legislate your property rights away from you and give them to the town board. The purpose of government is to protect your rights not to usurp them. Any elected official who votes away your liberties does not belong in office. For this is the ultimate betrayal of the people who voted them into office. History has shown us that losing your rights to government is easy, but getting them back is not. Question: Why should the board feel the need to take the property rights of all Masonville property owners to solve a few problem properties?
April 01, 2012 12:45:37 a very concerned resident   when did board reject proposed law? someone on the board proposed it and hired lawyer to create what is drafted now . we have a lot of money invested now in it.THIS MUST BE DISCUSSED,CURRENT COMMENTS SHOULD PROVIDE A GOOD BASIS FOR ANY CORRECTIVE ACTIONS. NOW IS NOT THE TIME TO PUT THIS ON THE BACK BURNER .SPEAK UP SENSIBLY
April 01, 2012 08:16:15 Veronica Peckjr@frontiernet.net When is Masonville holding it reabies clinic?
March 31, 2012 21:17:50 CRAIG DUMOND   The proposed law crafted by the Town Attorney has been rejected by the Town Board. There will be no public hearing or consideration being given to the law at the next meeting. I agree the law goes way too far in regulating property rights. I am very proud that our little Town is one of the remaining Towns in the County WITHOUT zoning, regulations, etc. As long as I am a Board member I will always have this position. However, with that being said, properties that pose a health or safety hazard must be appropriately dealt with...the Town does not have this options as there are significant liabilites. These issues should be few and far between and need to be administered with a sound degree of common sense.
March 31, 2012 16:04:03 resident   masonville general store, someone who has the entire town's best interest in mind, not just personal feelings.
March 31, 2012 13:40:06 reader   In order for all to understand the law being voted on is to attend the April 4 town meeting and ask questions and listen to the information. Very important to attend otherwise you have no reason to complain about the results.
March 31, 2012 10:51:56 Common sense   A vote for this law is a vote for the town board to have the ability to take away your God given rights, stated under the 5th amendment of the bill of rights under the constitution of the United States of America. No elected official should be able to sit in judgment of the adequacy of your property. Such as, the length of your grass or cleanliness of your property, based on a public view. This law will take away your right to privacy and how you manage your land. Question? Who is a better judge of your property? You or the town board?
March 30, 2012 00:14:15 Gloria   I did not mean to offend anyone by my comment about the official website. I just wanted to have the info. out there for the site to be updated and since it only seems that Grumpy's site gets a response that is why I posted here. I don't doubt that the information isn't submitted for the website. But I think it should be. Thank you for the reply Webmaster.
March 29, 2012 15:16:01 Town of Masonville Webmaster   RE: Town of Masonville official site. The site is updated as rapidly as the webmaster receives the information to post. I do not receive anything but the minutes to post from meetings. Attachments and pending laws etc. are not transmitted to me to post to the site. i.e. I have not received the March minutes to post as of this date. As to proposed laws etc. I am not privy to these and do not get them to post. Please take this up with your town representative. As to someone else taking this job of maintaining the site please feel free to do so. I have been doing it for a time now and if anyone feels that they are more capable please do not hesitate. It is strictly a volunteer job and I have been involved in computer and internet long enough to know that "everyone" is an expert. Which I surely am not. Until such time as someone who is more capable and reliable than myself I will continue to do what I am able. I recently had a sit down with our new Supervisor and we straightened out some things that he and I were not satisfied with as far as the site is concerned.
March 29, 2012 14:03:44 Masonville General Store   Wondering who you think should be appointed to the upcoming vacant town board position?
March 28, 2012 23:54:21 Gloria   I've been hearing about a new law coming and since I can not make it to meetings at night I was trying to find this information on the offical site but could not. Is there a reason this law can not be posted on the offical site? Even if it isn't law yet it should be posted so people can preview it. I did ready March minutes and agree with Robert Beards and his concerns regarding the offical site. It would be great if someone would keep it updated. Nothing wrong with this site but it seems to get a little off the subject. (copied from offical site)"Robert Beards expressed his concerns with the official Town of Masonville web site and said he would be interested in working and it and taking it over."
March 28, 2012 23:53:22 Bertimouse   Thank You Mike & the TOM Board for your re-consideration of the TOM CCE Law. CUDOS 2 U ALL! Take ALL THE TIME U NEED 4 UR NEXT REVIEW.
March 26, 2012 13:51:17 MIKE SPACCAFORNO   PLEASE NOTE: THE PUBLIC MEETING FOR "THE TOWN OF MASONVILLE COMPREHENSIVE CODE ENFORCEMENT LAW", WILL BE POSTPONED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. IT WAS TO BE SCHEDULED FOR THE NEXT TOWN HALL MEETING. THE BOARD WILL NEED MORE TIME FOR REVIEW. THANK YOU TO ALL THAT HAVE GIVEN US THEIR OPINIONS AND COMMENTS.
March 25, 2012 21:22:22 reader   long time resident---these are the questions that need to be asked at the April 4 meeting, very important to attend, also ask others to come too.
March 25, 2012 09:38:15 LONG TIME RESIDENT   JUST READ THE NEW PROPOSED LAW . Rumors Buck with an S and we Promise Here Now not to say anything more like that snot...doesn't help anyone does it? OK Nuff said.
March 19, 2012 07:49:53 resident and tax payer   Does anyone in town want the town board telling them when to mow their lawn or to move a pile of brush because it is a fire hazard? Or that a building needs to be removed because they do not like the looks of it? Parts of the law are okay but it does need some fine tuning.
March 18, 2012 09:31:35 Denis Burpoe   Resident what is in this law that has you so concerned. After researching this law I find that it will make Masonville a better place to live. And that should be the goal of our town board, Don't you agree.
March 17, 2012 13:06:32 Grumpy Ernst Keidel CDR.Keidel@gmail.com On the contrary! Regular guests at the Country Cream, aka the Penguin, know the owners and the warm ambiance this little country spot provides. I'll be frequenting again this year, and yeah, the ice cream is delicious.
March 17, 2012 12:30:39 resident   The revision of a comprehensive law for our town is being voted on at the April meeting and all should attend ,as this will affect all property owners.
March 16, 2012 19:24:41 bones   please someone reveal the identity of bertijerk so we can smack her or him at the quickway. nice to see that she or him is speaking for the town and will be the reason the penguin will lose business .
March 16, 2012 18:11:19 WOW!   I really didn't think so Bonnie. I just posted to see what comments I would get. We will still be doing our usual fishing trips with the kids, and ice cream from Country Cream aka The Penguin for the ride home.
March 16, 2012 14:54:50 Bonnie Tripp   I would just like to clarify that bertimouse has NOTHING to do with Country Cream aka The Penguin. We are anticipating opening in mid-April. We love our customers and look forward to seeing you all. I apologize for any confusion caused by bertimouse's post.

March 16, 2012 06:38:04 who?   If it is true that bertimouse has anything to do with the ice cream stand on Route 8 I will never go there again. bertimouse seem's to unstable for any children to be around.
March 16, 2012 04:12:36 WOW!   With a attitude like that I WON'T be taking my kids there for ice cream anymore.

March 15, 2012 12:19:07 CJR   Is the Big Old Nasty Shear's Road Evil Bear Active ?? Anyone Seen any Game Activity up in the State Lands Artic Mountain ???
March 13, 2012 09:08:37 Denis Burpoe   Resident. And what is wrong with this.
March 12, 2012 22:23:16 resident   attn: "whatever" read town minutes feb 1 2012 committee report ,new law #3 comprehensive code enforcement law intended to regulate and clean up town and protect us from public nuisances, etc
March 12, 2012 18:06:08 TOM Webmaster   Please note the NEW Town Hall phone number along with the proper extensions have been posted on the Masonville Website.
March 11, 2012 17:38:15 whatever?   Resident and courious what are yountalking about. I read Town Law #3 from 1995 and found it to be a very sound law. What has changed with the new law? Also if some one has a load of scrap or anything of value sitting on thei property and is receiving services from the county they should be claiming this scrap or junk cars are anything of value as a resource. If not they are not being truthful to all the paying tax payers.
March 11, 2012 14:15:49 resident   The proposed law should be checked out by all. Call the clerk and get a copy.
March 11, 2012 08:58:03 Craig DuMond   Yes, Fisher Electric
March 11, 2012 03:02:53 Fisher Price   HA HA!
March 10, 2012 21:17:24 bertimouse   Who was the Electrical Contractor that worked on our Town Hall? Was it Fisher Electric?
March 09, 2012 21:52:25 Craig DuMond   You can get copies of the proposed local law from the Town Clerk. We took the public input from the last public hearing and made adjustments. No we would like to hear the public's input once again. If needed, we will adjust it some more until most are comfortable. Bottom line is we need to do something about some of the significant problem properties we have that create health and safety issues as well as diminish others property values. We are not speaking of zoning....I do not believe anyone on the Board supports zoning....I know I strongly oppose anything to do with zoning.
March 09, 2012 15:53:45 curious   was there a hearing on a local law no 3. what is this law? who sponsored it?councilman? if this the one that everyone objected to .why are we trying to get reapproval.where can we get copies ? everyone ,voter or not, should be aware of what is covered ,some of contents imply masonville has serious issues.again where do me get copies. this law must be clearly understood by all each section should be explained as to why it is needed.the proposer should why the need. zoning?
March 08, 2012 22:59:51 bertimouse   My Mom always taught us to be True To Our Souls. Sorry if some folk think we are idiots here for speaking our minds sometimes. Our LLPP prayer is about the Light, Love, Power & Protection that we pray everyday to OUR God. We apologize if we've offended someone about that now. This bucks with a big S to even have to say this but whatever.
March 08, 2012 22:47:52 bertimouse   Thanks Grumpy. The Light of God Surrounds us All, The Love of God Enfolds us All, The Power of God Protects us All, The Presence of God is with us All. Were ever we are; God is with us all. We All Are Part Of One: Earth...Sea...Sky...Stars.
March 08, 2012 19:34:30 just one masonville resident   Grumpy, your site is very much appreciated to the people of Masonville. Although some may think it is not high tech or update enough for them, it sure fits us fine and is a fun way to get the news and ideas. Thank you, Grumpy for you support!!!!
March 07, 2012 13:09:10 Betty Scott   I agree it is important to keep our service personal in our thoughts and prayers. If you would like to help send someothing from home The Masonville Federated Church is currently collecting items to send to our service men and women overseas if you would like to contribute collection boxes have been set up at the church, the post office and the Masonville Library. A list of recommended items is available at each of these locations. The drive will continue through the end of March.
March 07, 2012 12:18:43 Grumpy Ernst Keidel CDR,Keidel@gmail.com Hello, Denis! You may remember my son Will, who was friends with your son and went to visit your home sometime. He went into the Army after graduation and then spent 16 months in Bah-Cu-Bah in Iraq with the 2nd Infantry Division. He is still in the reserves. His big brother (by three years) Armin was in Iraq at the same time and was medevaced out of Baghdad with a knee injury. He had his operation at West Point and now serves as a firefighter in Leominster, Massachusetts.
March 06, 2012 21:51:05 Oorah!!Hooah!!   As we remember those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for the freedoms we enjoy every day, please hold our servicemen and women in your strong arms. Cover them with your sheltering grace and your presence as they stand in the gap for our protection. We also remember the families of our troops. We ask for your unique blessings to fill their homes, and we pray your peace, provision, and strength will fill their lives.May the members of our armed forces be supplied with courage to face each day. Let our military families feel our love and support. Support our troops.
March 06, 2012 21:34:47 Craig DuMond   Even though both of our boys are State-side for now (Thank God)one is stationed in the full-time Air National Guard in Albany and the other in the Army at Fort Polk, LA. I agree Denis, far to many of us take for granted the sacrifices that have been and continue to be made to keep us all free. May God Bless our trrops and return them to us safe and sound.
March 06, 2012 12:52:42 Denis Burpoe   As we move foward to enjoythe spring weather the next few days in the comfort of our freedom that most of us take for granted and some do not respect. Lets remember those who are serving overseas on the battle grounds. We have 2 men from Steam Mill road serving in Afghanistan today. Does anyone else have someone from the community serving that we can keep in our daily thoughts.
March 05, 2012 19:15:16 Craig DuMond   While a Deputy Supervisor cannot act as Supervisor on the County Board, any person appointed Supervisor by the Town Board can. Mike Spaccaforno has been appointed as Supervisor for the Town of Masonville. I 100% support his appointment and know his excellent business sense and executive leadership skills will serve the Town well into the future. I also remain on the Town Board as a Councilman, filling Mr. Spaccaforno's seat, ensuring continuity and the smooth operation of our Town.
March 05, 2012 14:38:09 MIKE SPACCAFORNO   concerned - As the Supervisor of the town , I am and will be representing our town at the monthly Board of Supervisor's meetings. If you have any further questions, please contact me. Thank you for your concern.

March 01, 2012 20:39:13 Cheri Langstaff   Masonville is a super little town. I loved starting my teaching career there and had the best first class of 5th graders ever! It will always hold a special place in my heart and fond memories when I think of it. It saddens me to think that homey litte elementary school is not housing curious and spontaneous young children. Just loved it!
